About Johanna

Johanna (also known as Hanna) holds an M.A. in Statistics from Wharton, an M.Ed. in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Bowdoin College. She is a pre-doctoral fellow with the Institute of Education Sciences and is additionally a 2024-2025 AERA-NSF Dissertation Fellow. Hanna’s current work includes examining the treatment contrast of a state pre-k program, participating in a cross-sector project connecting early childhood service participation with academic outcomes in early elementary school, analyzing the cost-effectiveness of parenting programs in humanitarian contexts, and studying the longitudinal effects of a literacy curriculum.
