Rebecca Davis is a research associate with MDRC. Her primary research interests are in programs that seek to mitigate the material hardships of poverty for children and families. Rebecca is especially interested in education and social policy research that seeks to be policy relevant with a focus on cost-effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis. Before MDRC, Rebecca earned her PhD from the University of Pennsylvania where she was an IES predoctoral fellow. Rebecca is a former public-school teacher and early childhood educator.
