Jonathan Zabala is a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate school of Education with an M.S. Ed in Education Policy.


 

about Jonathan

Born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania, Jonathan has a deep passion for urban education reform and anti-poverty policies. Most recently, he was a senior policy associate at The Century Foundation, a progressive think tank in Washington, D.C. where his research focused on k-12 educational equity, specifically for English Learners. Prior to joining The Century Foundation, he was a fellow at the Office of the D.C. Deputy Mayor for Education. He began his career as a teacher at McLain High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma through the Teach for America program.
