Research Assistant

Anika is a first-year Ph.D. candidate in Education Policy at Penn’s Graduate School of Education. She is interested in quantitative analysis and cost effectiveness methods in examining pipeline outcomes for marginalized K-12 students. Broadly, her research pertains to questions of the evaluation and effectiveness of local and state K-12 education programs and policies.

Prior to joining GSE, Anika completed an M.A. in Education Policy at Teachers College, Columbia University. Before that, she taught at DC Public Schools for 4 years. She holds a M.Ed. from Lesley University and B.S. in Policy, Analysis, and Management from Cornell University.
