Atsuko Muroga is a Ph.D student in the Economics and Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She currently assists the Boston City Connects cost-benefit analysis and the Rasing Educational Achievement Coalition of Harlem (REACH) cost study as a graduate research assistant of CBCSE. She holds an M.A. in economics and education from Teachers College, Columbia University, an M.A. in educational administrative and policy studies from the University of Pittsburgh, and a B.A. in liberal arts from Soka University of America. Prior to joining CBCSE, she worked for the World Bank where she worked on various children, youth and education policy research and investment projects in countries such as Cambodia, Mongolia, Morocco, Iraq and Tunisia. She loves to do Zumba and play tennis in her spare time.
