California Dropout Research Project

These papers make valuable contributions to the California Dropout Research Project which synthesizes existing research and undertakes new research to inform policymakers and the larger public about the nature of-and effective solutions to-the dropout problem in California. The Project Director is Russell W. Rumberger, Professor of Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
